Thanks for contacting me. Is your ancestor Joannah or Susannah? I see in the will of Daniel on your website that it lists his daughter as Susannah Lancaster first, then Joannah later. Was there a Susannah and a Joannah?

My husband is descended from Martha Singleton b 1756, who married Uriah Proctor b 1740. Through their son George M Proctor b 1781, his son Uriah Proctor b 1816, his daughter Eliza Alice Proctor b 1856, her son Proctor Mullen b 1897, his son Glen Mullen b 1925, then my husband Stanley Mullen.

I am sending you my working copy of information starting with George M Proctor, and going for three generations. I always welcome corrections and additions .

Much of this information came from a book written about our Proctor genealogy shortly after 1900. It went back through George M to his parents. But does not list his siblings.

Also, from this book note i found, it appears that our older Uriah had a son named Thomas also. so thomas would have been a brother of our george m proctor. i will look into this further. shortly after george m died in 1819, his wife and children all moved to marion county missouri. looks like thomas and family did also.

from genealogy.com book 1908--(Sarah seems to be a sister of our older Uriah.)

Sarah Proctor Banks had one brother--Uriah. He was the father of Thomas Proctor, a wealthy merchant of Lancaster, Kentucky. Thomas was three times married. He first wedded Miss Polly Craig. After her death, he chose as his second wife, Miss Polly Craig. She, too, having passed away, he was married to Miss Polly Craig. His first two wives were cousins; the last Miss Polly was no kin to either of the other two Miss Craigs. Many are the times that "Cousin Tom Proctor" has been spoken of, and always in the highest terms. But of his father there is no record in our possession, he, probably, having early died.

Some of the lineal descendants of Uriah Proctor are:
James W. Proctor, cashier Palmyra (Mo.) National Bank; Mrs. Mildred Boldridge, of Philadelphia, Mo.; Mrs. Mollie Redd; Mrs. Emma Libbee; Mrs. Dora Waller; Mrs. Victoria Forsyth, of Marion county, Mo.; David Proctor; James Proctor; Mrs. James Scott; and Dr.. Tom Proctor, of Monroe county, Mo.; and Uriah Proctor, of southwest Missouri.
