Nola, Tom, Randy and Judy in August of 1999 drove to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to visit Shawn who is working there.

While in Wyoming, Shawn's boss, Latham Jenkins, took them out on a rafting trip on the Snake river. Nola said she never thought at 80 she would be rafting a river, especially one named the Snake. For all reports she is ready to do it again.

During their visit, they stayed in a cabin belonging to a friend of Judy, Jack and Betty Raymer of Arlington, VA, whose Forrest Ranger son Tom built the the cabin. Unfortunately Tom Raymer was killed just as he finished the cabin. His parents have kept the cabin and loan it out to friends as a memorial to Tom.

They also visited Yellowstone National Park. This was Tom's return some 69 years after his first visit when he was 12 years old. In 1930 Tom visited with "Maw Maw" his Grandmother (Mrs. James H. Malone), during their Far West tour.

These are photos from their trip.
