Dear Mr. McKnight,

My great grandfather, Jesse Hunt Turner, served as a private in the12th Miss. Cavalry, Co. C.

Looks like he started with the 14th Miss. Infantry at Corinth 6-8-61, but was discharged after a year.

He surfaced again 9-6-63 at Cotton Gin, Miss. in Co. C, 12th Miss. Infantry, served until end of war and discharged at Washington, Ga. but that is about all I know.
