John A. Sharp was my gr gr grandfather and served in the 12 th MS in Moore's Calvary. Also I have connections to James A. Clark who also served in that same division. I received the military records of my gr gr grandfather but don't know if he was killed in battle or not. His wife remarried in December of 1864 and moved from Ms to Ark but I can find nothing else about John except he was in the hospital for illness in July and Aug. Do you have access to any records that show who was killed in battle?
