Dear Tom,

My Great-Great-Great Grandfather William Polemial Lyons enlisted at West Point, Mississippi January 10, 1864.

His brother George Washington Lyons was wounded and paroled at Corinth, he mostly served with the 35th Mississippi Infantry Co 'K' but is also listed with the 12th.

He had another brother James T. Lyon that served in the 35th who was wounded at Corinth, captured at Vicksburg and later at the Chattahoochie River and sent to Camp Douglas Prison.

William's wife Virginia C. Lyons applied for his pension in 1914, the witnesses were W.C White and J.B Champion. Here is the 2nd page out of 7.
